Husie IF

Husie IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Husie IF, 117 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Husie IF could be found in Group 25 together with Vestfossen/Kongsberg, Kärra KIF and Sollentuna FK 2. Husie IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Notvikens Ik/ Luleå SK with 0-2. In the Final, Hammarby IF FF won over Lerums IS and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Husie comes from Malmö which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Malmö does also provide 27 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: LB07, Trollenäs IF, Hyllie IK, IF Lödde, Bjärreds IF, Skanör-Falsterbo IF, V. Ingelstad IS, Uppåkra IF, IFK Klagshamn and Vellinge FF).
