V. Frölunda IF 1

In addition to the three V. Frölunda teams, 166 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof V. Frölunda IF 1 could be found in Group 7 together with Specifique FA Tunisia 2, Randburg Football Club 2 and Sölvesborgs GIF. V. Frölunda IF 1 continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against La Academia FC 2 with 0-6. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over Mountain FC 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. V. Frölunda IF also participated in Boys 11 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/16 Final in B11 Play off A, but lost it against LAZ Stockerau with 3-11.
