Lekstorps IF

Lekstorps IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Lekstorps IF, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Lekstorps IF could be found in Group 30 together with Gauldal Fotballklubb and Forssa BK. Lekstorps IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Sjömarken/Sandareds IF with 0-3. In the Final, Ryerson SC West won over PLAYR Academy and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Lekstorps comes from Gråbo which lies approximately 23 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gråbo does also provide 69 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: IK Zenith, Alingsås IF, Kareby/Kode, Kållered SK, Askims IK, Bollebygds IF, Sjömarken/Sandareds IF, Ytterby IS, Lunden-Överås BK and V. Frölunda IF).
