Hermansby IF

Hermansby IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Hermansby IF, 90 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Hermansby IF could be found in Group 13 together with Sollentuna FK, Viggbyholms IK FF 2 and Mariebo IK. Hermansby IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Alvesta GIF with 1-2. In the Final, FC Hessleholm won over Onsala BK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Hermansby comes from Hermansby IF which lies approximately 470 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hermansby IF does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Myresjö/Vetlanda FK and HIF Klinten).
