Ytterby IS

Ytterby IS was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Ytterby IS, 137 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Ytterby IS could be found in Group 22 together with The Kusasa Stars, SC Unterzeil-Reichenhofen and IFK Borgholm. Ytterby IS continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Entente Osten Luxembourg with 1-4. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over IFK Lidingö 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Ytterby IS comes from Ytterby which lies approximately 14 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ytterby does also provide 68 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: IK Zenith, Alingsås IF, Kareby/Kode, Kållered SK, Askims IK, Lunden-Överås BK, V. Frölunda IF, Jitex Mölndal BK, Lekstorps IF and Solängens BK).
