Assyriska FF

Assyriska FF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Assyriska FF, 137 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Assyriska FF could be found in Group 7 together with CD Mercedarios, Guldhedens IK and Concordia Eschersheim. Assyriska FF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna with 0-4. In the Final, Antiguoko won over Coerver Coaching Tunisie and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Assyriska comes from Södertälje which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Södertälje does also provide 49 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Hanvikens SK, Enskede IK, Hammarby IF FF, Danderyds SK, Älta IF, Enebybergs IF, Ekerö IK, Huddinge IF, Essinge IK and Älvsjö AIK FF).
