Kista SC

Kista SC was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Kista SC, 173 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Kista SC could be found in Group 13 together with Footgeneration FA Algarve, LAZ Stockerau 2 and Backatorp IF. Kista SC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Lunds BK 1 with 3-7. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over SC Nienstedten and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Kista comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 59 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Hanvikens SK, Enskede IK, Hammarby IF FF, Bollstanäs SK, Danderyds SK, Älta IF, Enebybergs IF, Ekerö IK, Huddinge IF and Ingarö IF).
