ASRC Alytus

ASRC Alytus was one of three clubs from Lithuania that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to ASRC Alytus, 215 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof ASRC Alytus could be found in Group 8 together with KL Youth Soccer, Rotebro IS FF and Irsta IF. ASRC Alytus continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Eimsbütteler TV with 0-4. In the Final, Pequeninos do Jockey won over Lizzy Football Club and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. ASRC Alytus comes from Vilnius which lies approximately 890 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than ASRC Alytus, the club SFK Rotalis does also originate from the area around Vilnius.
