FC Viking

FC Viking was one of two clubs from Georgia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to FC Viking, 129 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof FC Viking could be found in Group 10 together with Concordia Eschersheim, Näsets SK 3 and IFK Lidingö 1. FC Viking continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Mossens BK with 0-5. In the Final, Prep School Pumas 2 won over Gauldal Fotballklubb and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 11. FC Viking comes from TBILISI which lies approximately 2900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than FC Viking, the club Vake-WIT does also originate from the area around TBILISI.
