SFK Rotalis was one of three clubs from Lithuania that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to SFK Rotalis, 129 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof SFK Rotalis could be found in Group 22 together with Utpal Shanghvi Global School 1, Hisingsbacka FC and Högaborgs BK. SFK Rotalis continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Helsingborgs IF 2 with 0-4. In the Final, Prep School Pumas 2 won over Gauldal Fotballklubb and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 11. SFK Rotalis comes from Vilnius which lies approximately 890 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than SFK Rotalis, the club ASRC Alytus does also originate from the area around Vilnius.
