Lidköpings FK

Lidköpings FK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Lidköpings FK, 179 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Lidköpings FK could be found in Group 39 together with Maryland United FC, BV Werther and Lillestrøm SK. Lidköpings FK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 39. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Coerver Michigan Performance Academy with 1-3. In the Final, Cap Jeune 31 won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Lidköpings FK comes from Lidköping which lies approximately 110 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lidköping does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Arentorp Helås FK, Sils IF and Skara FC).
