Bangalore Soccer Academy was one of 9 clubs from India that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Bangalore Soccer Academy, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof Bangalore Soccer Academy could be found in Group 31 together with Glumslövs FF, IFK Haninge and DJK St. Mathias Trier. Bangalore Soccer Academy continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 31. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Ödåkra IF 2 with 1-2. In the Final, Gerdskens BK won over Eskilstuna City FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Bangalore Soccer Academy comes from Bangalore which lies approximately 6500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
