Måbjerg IF

Måbjerg IF was one of 8 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Måbjerg IF, 130 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Måbjerg IF could be found in Group 14 together with Brynäs IF/FK, Nordhordland BK and CCL Soccer Club. Måbjerg IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against SuS Kaiserau with 0-2. In the Final, Project Playground FC won over FK Lillehammer and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Måbjerg IF also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/32 Final in B18 Play off A, but lost it against Space/Ordin with 0-2. Måbjerg comes from Holstebro which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
