ZFA

ZFA was one of 9 clubs from Lebanon that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to ZFA, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof ZFA could be found in Group 25 together with Sandefjord BK, Colegio St Clair FHB and Brage, IK. ZFA continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Håbo FF with 1-2. In the Final, Gerdskens BK won over Eskilstuna City FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. ZFA comes from P.O Box 16 which lies approximately 5700 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around P.O Box 16 does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (F.C. Beirut, Athletico SC, Noujoumi FC, Hoops, O Berytus, Samaya FA and Aquamarine 2).
