Red Star Belgrad

Red Star Belgrad was the only club from Serbia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). In addition to Red Star Belgrad, 15 other teams from 6 different countries played in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Red Star Belgrad could be found in Group 2 together with Umeå IK FF, Gasteizko Neskak and AIK FF. Red Star Belgrad continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against CCL Soccer Club with 5-7. In the Final, Right to Dream won over Umeå IK FF and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). Red Star Belgrad comes from Belgrade which lies approximately 1600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
