Vallåkra IF

Vallåkra IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Vallåkra IF, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof Vallåkra IF could be found in Group 26 together with Jonsereds IF, TSV Uesen and CEF 18 Tucuman 2. Vallåkra IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Tölö IF with 0-8. In the Final, Gerdskens BK won over Eskilstuna City FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Vallåkra comes from Helsingborg which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Helsingborg does also provide 24 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Trollenäs IF, IF Lödde, Furulunds IK, Torna Hällestad IF, Ödåkra IF, Kullabygdens DFF, Torns IF, Billesholms IK, Hittarps IK and Fortuna FF).
