International School of Kenya

International School of Kenya was one of five clubs from Kenya that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to International School of Kenya, 179 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof International School of Kenya could be found in Group 7 together with Walddörfer SV, FC Bordeaux Aquitaine and Fässbergs IF. International School of Kenya continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Barry Comprehensive School with 0-3. In the Final, Phoenix Football Academy won over IK Zenith and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. International School of Kenya also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/32 Final in B15 Play off A, but lost it against Nosaby IF with 0-2. International School of Kenya comes from Nairobi which lies approximately 6900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nairobi does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Diamond FC, Runda Youth sports Association (RYSA) and Ligi Ndogo SC).
