SC Borgfeld eV

SC Borgfeld eV was one of 69 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to SC Borgfeld eV, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof SC Borgfeld eV could be found in Group 33 together with Oshawa Kicks, Trollhättans FK and BK Höllviken Red. SC Borgfeld eV continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Blagnac with 0-2. In the Final, Gerdskens BK won over Eskilstuna City FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Borgfeld eV comes from Bremen which lies approximately 550 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bremen does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: JFV Weyhe-Stuhr e.V., SG Findorff, FC Gessel-Leerssen, TuS Komet Arsten, TSV Weyhe-Lahausen, JFV Verden/Brunsbrock, JSG Baden/Etelsen, TSV Uesen, FSV Langwedel-Völkersen and Union 60).
