Karlstad BK

Karlstad BK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Karlstad BK, 179 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Karlstad BK could be found in Group 36 together with Volsungur, TSV Altenholz and Dalkurd FF. Karlstad BK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 36. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Hisingsbacka FC with 0-5. In the Final, Phoenix Football Academy won over IK Zenith and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Karlstad comes from Karlstad which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Karlstad does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (IFK Kristinehamn, Råtorps IK, FBK Karlstad, Villastadens IF and Idrottsklubben Carlstad).
