Sherwood

Sherwood was one of 11 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Sherwood, 130 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Sherwood could be found in Group 17 together with VfL Westercelle, Vake-WIT and Torslanda IK 2. Sherwood continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against KL Youth Soccer with 0-1. In the Final, Project Playground FC won over FK Lillehammer and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Sherwood comes from SEMINARIO 133 LOMAS DE LA HERRADURA which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around SEMINARIO 133 LOMAS DE LA HERRADURA does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Goal Girls, CA Intercups Mexico, A.S. México, CLUB REFORMA, Club España and Academy Elite).
