Galatasaray Lisesi

Galatasaray Lisesi was one of two clubs from Türkiye that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Galatasaray Lisesi, 61 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Galatasaray Lisesi could be found in Group 15 together with Kungsbacka DFF, Asarums IF/FK and Fløya IF. Galatasaray Lisesi continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Bergnäsets AIK with 0-7. In the Final, Enskede IK won over Alemannia Aachen and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. Galatasaray Lisesi comes from istanbul which lies approximately 2200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
