CLUB REFORMA

CLUB REFORMA was one of 11 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to CLUB REFORMA, 61 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof CLUB REFORMA could be found in Group 8 together with IFK Tidaholm, Landvetter IF 2 and Djurgårdens IF. CLUB REFORMA continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ale United with 0-3. In the Final, Enskede IK won over Alemannia Aachen and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. REFORMA comes from Mexico which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mexico does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Goal Girls, CA Intercups Mexico, A.S. México, Club España, Sherwood and Academy Elite).
