Munka-Ljungby IF

Munka-Ljungby IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Munka-Ljungby IF, 173 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Munka-Ljungby IF could be found in Group 27 together with Torslanda IK, Regents Park FC and ACOS Treviglio 1. Munka-Ljungby IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Romelanda UF with 4-6. In the Final, Footgeneration FA Algarve won over IF Elfsborg and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Munka-Ljungby comes from Munka-ljungby which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Munka-ljungby does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Kullabygdens DFF, Laholms FK, Billesholms IK, Hittarps IK, Fortuna FF, Helsingborgs IF, Vejby IF, Högaborgs BK, Ramlösa Södra FF and Glumslövs FF).
