GIF Sundsvall

GIF Sundsvall was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15 Swe. In addition to GIF Sundsvall, 36 other teams played in Boys 15 Swe. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof GIF Sundsvall could be found in Group 2 together with BK Häcken, Dalkurd FF and Hammarby IF FF. GIF Sundsvall continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against BK Forward with 1-3. In the Final, Örebro SK won over BK Forward and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15 Swe. GIF Sundsvall comes from Sundsvall which lies approximately 600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sundsvall does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Kubikenborgs IF, Selånger FK and Sundsvalls DFF).
