Eskilstuna Södra FF

Eskilstuna Södra FF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Eskilstuna Södra FF, 130 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Eskilstuna Södra FF could be found in Group 16 together with USM Senlis, Samaya FA and Stenungsunds IF. Eskilstuna Södra FF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Mölnlycke IF with 0-5. In the Final, Project Playground FC won over FK Lillehammer and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Eskilstuna Södra comes from Eskilstuna which lies approximately 320 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Eskilstuna does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Västerås IK, Skiljebo SK, Eskilstuna City FK, Dingtuna GIF, Västerås SK Ungdom, Västerås BK 30, Västerås SK, Västerås BK30, Irsta IF and Arboga Södra IF).
