Ligi Ndogo SC

Ligi Ndogo SC was one of five clubs from Kenya that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Ligi Ndogo SC, 137 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Ligi Ndogo SC could be found in Group 5 together with Currie Star FC, V. Frölunda IF and Lunds SK. Ligi Ndogo SC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Assyriska FF with 0-1. In the Final, Antiguoko won over Coerver Coaching Tunisie and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Ligi Ndogo SC also participated in Boys 12 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in B12 Play off A, but lost it against FC Santos with 0-6. Ligi Ndogo comes from Nairobi which lies approximately 6900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nairobi does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Diamond FC, Runda Youth sports Association (RYSA) and International School of Kenya).
