Runda Youth sports Association (RYSA)

Runda Youth sports Association (RYSA) was one of five clubs from Kenya that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Runda Youth sports Association (RYSA), 137 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Runda Youth sports Association (RYSA) could be found in Group 28 together with Braishfield Bees FC, Oppsal IF and Räppe GoIF. Runda Youth sports Association (RYSA) continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 28. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Bara GIF with 0-2. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over A.S. México and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Runda Youth sports Association (RYSA) comes from Nairobi which lies approximately 6900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nairobi does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Diamond FC, Ligi Ndogo SC and International School of Kenya).
