Stocksunds IF

Stocksunds IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Stocksunds IF, 98 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Stocksunds IF could be found in Group 6 together with Breidablik 2, FC Kuusysi 2 and Hittarps IK. Stocksunds IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Håbo FF with 3-4. In the Final, Austin Lonestars won over Skogås/Trångsunds FF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Stocksunds IF also participated in Girls 13 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in G13 Play off A, but lost it against Global Premier SC with 0-11. Stocksunds comes from Stocksund which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stocksund does also provide 59 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Hanvikens SK, Enskede IK, Hammarby IF FF, Bollstanäs SK, Danderyds SK, Älta IF, Enebybergs IF, Ekerö IK, Huddinge IF and Ingarö IF).
