Nõmme United FC

Nõmme United FC was one of four clubs from Estonia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Nõmme United FC, 179 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Nõmme United FC could be found in Group 20 together with F.C. Beirut, Onsala BK and Eastleigh FC. Nõmme United FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Yeovil Town FC with 0-2. In the Final, Cap Jeune 31 won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Nõmme United FC comes from Tallinn which lies approximately 760 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tallinn does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (FC Flora Tallinn and FC Ajax - Tallinn).
