Football Academy of Jerusalem

Football Academy of Jerusalem was the only club from Palestine that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Football Academy of Jerusalem, 129 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof Football Academy of Jerusalem could be found in Group 15 together with USM Senlis 2, Annebergs IF and Prep School Lions 3. Football Academy of Jerusalem continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Euro Soccer Academy with 0-4. In the Final, Prep School Pumas 2 won over Gauldal Fotballklubb and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 11. Football Academy of Jerusalem comes from JERUSALEM \ BEIT SAFAFA which lies approximately 3400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
