Fortuna FF

Fortuna FF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Fortuna FF, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof Fortuna FF could be found in Group 38 together with CO Vincennes, Fins FC and Kramfors-Alliansen. Fortuna FF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 38. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Nässjö FF with 0-5. In the Final, Gerdskens BK won over Eskilstuna City FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Fortuna comes from Rydebäck which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Rydebäck does also provide 20 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Trollenäs IF, IF Lödde, Furulunds IK, Ödåkra IF, Kullabygdens DFF, Torns IF, Billesholms IK, Hittarps IK, Svalövs BK and Helsingborgs IF).
