IK Franke

IK Franke was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to IK Franke, 130 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof IK Franke could be found in Group 11 together with FC Agioi Anargyroi, IFK Örby and Ordin FC 1. IK Franke continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Mölnlycke IF with 2-5. In the Final, Project Playground FC won over FK Lillehammer and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Franke comes from Västerås which lies approximately 330 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västerås does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Västerås IK, Skiljebo SK, Eskilstuna City FK, Dingtuna GIF, Västerås SK Ungdom, Västerås BK 30, Västerås SK, Västerås BK30, Irsta IF and Triangelns IK).
