Lambertseter IF

Lambertseter IF was one of 59 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Lambertseter IF, 77 other teams from 16 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Lambertseter IF could be found in Group 14 together with Simmons Premier Soccer Club, FC Djursholm and Skultorps IF. Lambertseter IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Borgeby FK with 0-4. In the Final, Borgeby FK won over Gasteizko Neskak and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Lambertseter comes from Oslo which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Oslo does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Oppsal IF, Nittedal IL, Skjetten Fotball, Lillestrøm SK, Lyn Fotball, Stabæk Fotball, BVH Fotball, FK Fjellhamar, Asker SKK and Fet IL).
