SG Trave Leezen

SG Trave Leezen was one of 69 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to SG Trave Leezen, 130 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof SG Trave Leezen could be found in Group 30 together with SK Sprint-Jeløy 1, Hanvikens SK and Guildford County School. SG Trave Leezen continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Soltau, MTV with 0-5. In the Final, Project Playground FC won over FK Lillehammer and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. SG Trave Leezen comes from Leezen which lies approximately 440 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Leezen does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Rahlstedter, SC, USC Paloma Hamburg, SV.West-Eimsbüttel, Walddörfer SV, TuS Germania Schnelsen, JFV Hanse Lübeck, Niendorfer TSV, TSV Sasel, SC Alstertal-Langenhorn and Eimsbütteler TV).
