IFK Tidaholm was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to IFK Tidaholm, 61 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof IFK Tidaholm could be found in Group 8 together with CLUB REFORMA, Landvetter IF 2 and Djurgårdens IF. IFK Tidaholm continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against SG Borken e.V. with 0-1. In the Final, Enskede IK won over Alemannia Aachen and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. IFK Tidaholm comes from Tidaholm which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tidaholm does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: IFK Skövde FK, Skövde KIK, Falköpings KIK, Habo IF, Tidaholms GIF, IFK Falköping FF, Skövde AIK, Mullsjö IF, Skara FC and Skultorps IF).
