Ludvika FK

Ludvika FK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Ludvika FK, 179 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Ludvika FK could be found in Group 42 together with IK Sirius FK, JFV Hanse Lübeck, SK Sprint-Jeløy 1 and The International School Bangalore. Ludvika FK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 42. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Mjällby AIF with 0-2. In the Final, Cap Jeune 31 won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Ludvika FK comes from Ludvika which lies approximately 320 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ludvika does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Östansbo IS, Västanfors IF and Fagersta Södra IK).
