Kungshamns IF

Kungshamns IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Kungshamns IF, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof Kungshamns IF could be found in Group 42 together with Mahlsdorf-Waldesruh, B-W, Figgjo IL and Emmaboda IS. Kungshamns IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 42. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against J-L Juniors with 0-3. In the Final, AC Ajaccio won over CO Vincennes and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Kungshamns IF also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in B14 Play off A, but lost it against Colegio Saint Clair with 0-1. Kungshamns comes from Kungshamn which lies approximately 81 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kungshamn does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Orust Fotboll and Rössö, IK).
