Colégio Atlantico

Colégio Atlantico was one of 7 clubs from Portugal that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Colégio Atlantico, 215 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof Colégio Atlantico could be found in Group 30 together with Match Fit Academy, Sävedalens IF and Västerås SK 1. Colégio Atlantico continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Monifieth Athletic FC with 0-5. In the Final, Match Fit Academy won over Footgeneration FA Algarve and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Colégio Atlantico also participated in Boys 13 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/32 Final in B13 Play off B, but lost it against FC Este 2012 with 5-6. Colégio Atlantico comes from Seixal which lies approximately 2600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Colégio Atlantico, the club AFD Torre does also originate from the area around Seixal.
