Skjetten Fotball

Skjetten Fotball was one of 59 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Skjetten Fotball, 179 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Skjetten Fotball could be found in Group 34 together with FC Golden State, FK Karlskrona and Hässleholms IF. Skjetten Fotball continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 34. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against CS Colts with 4-5. In the Final, Phoenix Football Academy won over IK Zenith and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Skjetten Fotball comes from Skjetten which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skjetten does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Oppsal IF, Nittedal IL, Lillestrøm SK, Lyn Fotball, Stabæk Fotball, BVH Fotball, FK Fjellhamar, Asker SKK, Fet IL and Vålerenga Fotball).
