Sundsvalls DFF

Sundsvalls DFF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Sundsvalls DFF, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Sundsvalls DFF could be found in Group 22 together with Oppsal IF, Nässjö FF and Bälinge IF. Sundsvalls DFF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Borens IK with 0-1. In the Final, TGK Worcestershire won over Gideonsbergs IF Vit and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Sundsvalls DFF comes from Sundsvall which lies approximately 590 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sundsvall does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Kubikenborgs IF, Selånger FK and GIF Sundsvall).
