Hutchison Vale

Hutchison Vale was one of 6 clubs from Scotland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Hutchison Vale, 137 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Hutchison Vale could be found in Group 9 together with Stryn, TuS Haltern am See and IF Väster. Hutchison Vale continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lambeth Tigers FC with 1-7. In the Final, Antiguoko won over Coerver Coaching Tunisie and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Hutchison Vale also participated in Boys 12 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/32 Final in B12 Play off A, but lost it against Vasastan BK 2 with 2-4. Hutchison Vale comes from Edinburgh which lies approximately 940 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Edinburgh does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Tynecastle Football Club, Currie Star FC and Boroughmuir Thistle Football Club).
