Efthymiades FA

Efthymiades FA was the only club from Cyprus that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Efthymiades FA, 173 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Efthymiades FA could be found in Group 21 together with Aquamarine 2, Jonsereds IF and Prep School Pumas 3. Efthymiades FA continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against SC Nienstedten with 1-7. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over SC Nienstedten and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Efthymiades FA comes from Nicosia which lies approximately 3000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
