Puotinkylän Valtti

Puotinkylän Valtti was one of 12 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Puotinkylän Valtti, 98 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Puotinkylän Valtti could be found in Group 11 together with Sandvikens IF, Sandsbro AIK and IF Brommapojkarna. Puotinkylän Valtti continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Hovås-Billdal IF with 5-7. In the Final, AIK FF won over Hammarby IF FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Puotinkylän Valtti comes from Helsinki which lies approximately 790 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Helsinki does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Special Olympics Finland, VJS Vantaa and Puotinkylän Valtti/Itä United).
