Gnosjö IF

Gnosjö IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Gnosjö IF, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Gnosjö IF could be found in Group 19 together with Älta IF, SK Djerv 1919 and Veberöds AIF/Blentarps IF. Gnosjö IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against SKK with 0-3. In the Final, TGK Worcestershire won over Gideonsbergs IF Vit and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Gnosjö comes from Gnosjö which lies approximately 120 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gnosjö does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (IFK Värnamo, Limmareds/Dalstorp/Tranemo and Dalstorps/Grimsås IF).
