IS Halmia

IS Halmia was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to IS Halmia, 179 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof IS Halmia could be found in Group 35 together with SG Findorff, Fjolnir 1 and Oppsal IF. IS Halmia continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 35. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against CS Colts with 1-2. In the Final, Phoenix Football Academy won over IK Zenith and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. IS Halmia also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/64 Final in B15 Play off B, but lost it against Storvreta IK with 1-2. IS Halmia comes from halmstad which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around halmstad does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (IF Böljan, Laholms FK, HGH Halmstad, Halmstads BK, BK Astrio and Falkenbergs FF).
