Ystads IF FF

Ystads IF FF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Ystads IF FF, 215 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof Ystads IF FF could be found in Group 45 together with Thai Spirit FC, 1. FC Schöneiche e.V., Mariehem SK and Torsåkers IF. Ystads IF FF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 45. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against KSV Klein-Karben with 1-2. In the Final, Pequeninos do Jockey won over Lizzy Football Club and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Ystads comes from Ystad which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ystad does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Anderslövs BoIK and Veberöds AIF/Blentarps IF).
