Storvreta/Ärentuna

Storvreta/Ärentuna was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Storvreta/Ärentuna, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof Storvreta/Ärentuna could be found in Group 9 together with Askims IK, FC Bordeaux Aquitaine and Monte Libano. Storvreta/Ärentuna continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against The Westgate School with 5-6. In the Final, Gerdskens BK won over Eskilstuna City FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Storvreta/Ärentuna comes from Storvreta which lies approximately 410 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Storvreta does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Bälinge IF, Storvreta IK, IK Sirius FK, Sunnersta AIF, Vaksala SK, Gamla Upsala SK, Upsala IF, SK Iron, IF VP Uppsala and IFK Uppsala).
