Vinslövs IF

Vinslövs IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Vinslövs IF, 98 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Vinslövs IF could be found in Group 13 together with Järla IF, IFK Örby and NSA. Vinslövs IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Täby FK with 1-3. In the Final, Austin Lonestars won over Skogås/Trångsunds FF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Vinslövs comes from Vinslöv which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vinslöv does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: IFK Osby, Wisseltofta IF, Åhus Horna BK, IFK Hässleholm, Åhus IF, Åsums BK, Nosaby IF, IFK Knislinge, FC Hessleholm and Vittsjö GIK).
