Högsby IK

Högsby IK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Högsby IK, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof Högsby IK could be found in Group 46 together with JFV Weyhe-Stuhr e.V., IF Skarp and Sandvikens IF Röd. Högsby IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 46. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Segeltorps IF with 0-5. In the Final, Gerdskens BK won over Eskilstuna City FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Högsby comes from Högsby which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Högsby does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Rödsle BK and Mönsterås GoIF).
