IBFF

IBFF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to IBFF, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof IBFF could be found in Group 48 together with Freie Turnerschaft Braunschweig, JSC Pitray-Olier Paris Red, IF Brommapojkarna and Skoftebyns IF. IBFF continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 48. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Bodens BK FF with 1-2. In the Final, Gerdskens BK won over Eskilstuna City FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. IBFF comes from Piteå which lies approximately 970 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Piteå does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Piteå IF, IBFF/SAIK, Storfors AIK, Munksund/Skuthamn SK and Piteå IF DFF).
